2008 MASE/MAPSS FIELD DAY

WHEN:	Thursday, September 25, 2008 (8am – mid-afternoon)
WHERE:	Hallowell Recreation Area
COST:	Free for MASE/ MAPSS members ($10 all others)
SCHEDULE:	8 am to noon Test Pit Review (at leisure)
	10 am to noon NRCS Discussion of MAPSS Test Pits
	noon to 1 pm Lunch (Hot Dog/ Hamburger, Soda, & Chips)
	1 pm to END Powerpoint Presentation of Test Pits

Directions from North: Exit Interstate 95 at Exit 109 use ramp heading west toward Winthrop. Go west 0.20 miles on Western Avenue (Routes 11, 17, 100 & 202) proceed to left lane, at first traffic light turn left onto Edison Drive. After turning left on Edison drive immediately turn left to reverse direction in front of EconoLodge Motel and Margaritas Restaurant. Then turn right on Western Avenue and proceed easterly on Western Avenue 0.20 miles to the first traffic light, turn right on Whitten Road. Proceed southerly on Whitten road to its end and intersection with Winthrop Street. Turn right on Winthrop Street and proceed 0.33 miles northwesterly to Town Farm Road on the left. Turn left on the Town Farm Road and proceed 0.28 miles to Reservoir Road on the right. Turn right onto Reservoir Road and proceed to Hallowell Recreation Area at the end of the road.
