Another original has left us, Dana passed away in mid-March of this year.

I did not know Dana, but enjoyed reading of his life’s accomplishments. A truly interesting guy.

According to fellow MASE member Albert Frick:

Dana was a Maine Site Evaluator from the very beginning of the Site Evaluation Program.  He was also a Civil Engineer who worked at ACME Engineering and was a Principle at SMRT. Dana was very active with MASE through his many years practicing engineering and Site Evaluation before retiring to Venice, Florida. He was one of the Founding Fathers of MASE and he helped to write MASE’s first version of its BY LAWS. You couldn’t find a more honest, smarter, humble guy than Dana Morton.

Rest is peace Dana Morton.
